Garden fence installation in Alfreton with insured fitting

Privacy, boundary definition and shelter considered together. Full fence lines planned from posts to gates. Fully insured work.

A better garden starts with a better boundary

Built for the actual site

Fence height, exposure and ground levels are considered before the line is set out.

More than just new panels

We plan posts, gravel boards, gates and changes in level as part of the whole job.

Insured work on site

Full insurance adds reassurance while the old line is removed and the new one goes in.

A fence line that does the whole job

A new garden fence can change how a whole outdoor space feels. It may screen off the neighbours, mark the true boundary, give the garden a tidier shape or simply replace a run that's leaning and past its best. The best result comes from looking at the full line rather than just the panels. Posts, boards or panels, gravel boards, fixings, gates and the way the fence deals with steps or changes in ground level all affect how well it stands and how it looks once finished.

We install garden fencing with the site in mind, because exposure, required height, upkeep and the condition of the existing boundary all influence the right build.

Good preparation keeps the job moving

The job usually starts with measuring and checking the existing line, then either removing what is there or preparing the boundary for the new fence. Post positions are set out, the structure goes in, and any gates or finishing details are completed to suit the layout. A bit of preparation from you helps the day run smoothly too. If access is cleared and any known boundary questions are raised early, Wingfield Fencing Ltd can get on with the work without the usual hold-ups and head scratching over whose fence it is.

Frequently asked questions

Can you replace only part of an old fence line?

Yes, if the damaged or worn section can be dealt with sensibly on its own. We still need to look at how the new work will tie into what remains, because a short replacement run only works well if the line, levels and supports all make sense together.

How do you deal with uneven ground in a garden fence?

Changes in level are part of the planning. We consider post positions, panel or board layout and where the line needs stepping or adjusting so the finished fence looks deliberate and stands properly instead of following the ground badly.

What should I do before the fencing team arrives?

Clear access where you can and point out any known boundary concerns before work starts. Moving obvious obstructions, checking where gates need to go and raising any questions early helps the installation run more smoothly once the old fence comes down.
